We offer 3 basic services:
Stone Polishing
In time your stone will lose it’s lustre and will require a re-polish. We use Klindex stone polishing powder to remove light scratches and return your bench top, floor or wall to the finish you require. Finish’s vary from acid washed, honed to a high polish shine.
Grinding
In some cases the scratches or etching on a stone surface may be too deep to be removed with just a light abrasive and a polish. This is true of heavy traffic areas such as resort foyers but can be equally true of new floors that haven’t been adequately protected during construction. In these cases a full floor grind is the answer. To produce a high gloss, fully ground floor up to 15 seperate stages of grinding using metal and resin abrasives may be required. It is worth the labour however as the result is a perfectly flat, beautiful floor which is the ultimate in hard floor finishing.
Cleaning and Sealing
Keeping your stone clean and protected can be a perplexing undertaking as there is a wide range of advice available. Floors With Flair are happy to carry out any cleaning or maintenance work on your stone, we can also offer a range of “stone safe” cleaning chemicals to help with your regular cleaning.
