Stone Benchtops

Is your Kitchen Benchtop chipped? Is it stained? Is the surface dull in areas and impossible to keep clean? Does your bathroom vanity top always look dirty?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above then your stone surface needs to refinished.

While refinishing sounds like a major project, in most cases we can have your stone surface looking as good as the day you had it installed with little fuss and in a short period of time. Processes such as a simple repolish or a full diamond grind and polish can be completed in a single visit in most cases.

What about preventing the benchtop from restaining or etching again? During our first visit to quote on your needs we will be encouraging you to seal your benchtops. This is the only way to ensure that the stone surfaces dont stain again or etch within a very short period of time.

We pride ourselves in using the best machinery and products available today and sealer is no exception. We are certified DryTreat Applicators and encourage the use of full range of products for all the sealing and ongoing maintanence of your stone surfaces.

Can Marble Benchtops Be Protected From Acid Staining?

The simple answer to this question is yes! With the development of UV based coatings it is now possible to prevent unsightly acid stains or "watermarks" as they are sometimes refered to spoiling the look of your kitchen or bathroom countertops.

The process involves refinishing the surface and then applying a very thin coating of DryTreat Vitremela. This coating is then cured using a very strong UV light, The result is a natural looking surface that is acid proof, heat resistant to 260 degrees C while maintaining the same hardness as marble!
